What a week!!!
I am exhausted, but soooo fulfilled. This experience has been such a great thing to be a part of, and in the short time that I have been at my school, I feel that I have learnt so much. I taught my first lesson (twice) and it went pretty well - the kids in my class have very some fantastic opinions on modern life, and they articulate themselves extremely well. I certainly understimated their ability.
Whilst having a well-deserved stroll round Valencia this weekend, Rachel asked me what adjective I would use to describe this entire week, and honestly I have absoloutely no clue!! If anyone can tell me a word that encapsulates a feeling of exhaustion, pure joy and excitement then please do tell me.
Speaking of strolling - I have seen some great sights in Valencia. This morning I had the BEST jog round the Parque de Gulliver. Yesterday, I visited the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias - the best 8 euros I have ever spent, the museum is super interactive and really fascinating. I've also eaten some great food this weekend. Antonia made a bunch of us an amazing Greek meal and we've also all shared some lovely Tapas.
It's been nice to have a break from the teaching lifestyle, but as I write this blog tonight, I am immensely looking forward to what the next week will hold.See you next time.
