Yay.....worries cast aside and an experience that felt really good. A round of applause at the end of the class and a request from the teacher for my teaching resources and a compliment that my lesson model was one she would like to present. She enjoyed it very much. Twenty nine 👍
This glory was short lived on presenting the next lesson - a class of 30 x 13 and 14 year olds who had returned from break, hot sweaty, hungry and unfocused. Yikes! But, they do still try. I'm getting used to it and feel sorry for them that their day starts early, is long and tiring and they don't get to eat until 3pm. (A personal interest in adolescent brains and school start times). Fractious , but with reason. A different sort of challenge. Despite the challenges, they are all happy kids and that makes it a pleasure.
