Valencian teaching adventure with UKLC

We started this week of training in Chester by writing a letter to ourselves about our fears, hopes and expectations.

As the days went by my fears, that this is going to be quite an intense 'CELTA like' training with a focus on YL, slowly but surely disappeared. No scary 13 hours long training days with a commute on top. No Slacker app. Instead we were given lots of informative and practical input, constructive feedback and heaps of encouragement! Thank you :-)

The hopes of gaining more knowledge about how to approach those 'strange species' called teenagers and young adults flourished. We were given many fresh ideas on activities and resources for our teaching lessons. Another big thank you :-)

So that leaves the expectations. And those were exceeded when I look back and see how much we learnt in just one week! Now it's time to put our knowledge to work and show those Spanish kids how much fun they can have while learning English!

It's our last night in Chester, before we make our way to Spain.😎

Buen viaje!
