Last week was such a blur! It was so nice to meet everyone and the training has helped me to begin to mentally prepare for the terrifying prospect of teaching in Spain 😅 Sending appreciation to the UKC team for taking care of us so well. It was great to see Chester, we visited the cathedral one day which was beautiful as you can see in the pictures!
My placement is in a huge school in Valencia, teaching 12-17 year olds. I was feeling completely overwhelmed after day 1 and very lost, teenagers are intimidating. But day 2 has been better, and I’m expecting it to get a little better every day! This is very scary but I believe I need to force myself out of my comfort zone in order to grow!
