Mission accomplished!

This Sunday I wanted to see what Valencia has to offer, as I'll be a bit of a tour guide next weekend. I'll have some visitors coming over from Alicante, so I need to be prepared. Many museums have free entry and to my great delight you can explore more places 'gratis' on Sunday👍

Even though I'm not crazy about ceramics, National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuary Arts is easy on the eyes. The building itself is an architectural treat and the collection contains some pieces by Picasso. My next stop was Silk Exchange (Lonja de la Seda) - another beautiful building, that's been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. If you'd like to climb some stairs and enjoy the city views, there are 2 towers: Torres de Serranos & Torres de Quart. They were part of the old medieval city wall. It was great to visit all these places, but my favourite is yet to come....

As a bit of a crazy cat lady in training, I was determined to find a 'Cat House' on Calle Museo. It was a hole in the wall for feral cats. An artist decided to create 'a miniature house' around it, complete with windows and doors. The place was cute as a cutten (noun = meaning cute kitten)!😻 With a satisfied smile of a cat that got the cream, I headed back to Moncada.

And right meow it's time for my cat nap.
