Farewell Chester, Hola Valencia

I really enjoyed my time in Chester, both for the full-on training, meeting a lot of lovely new people from all over the Uk that I would have never normally met and because of the surroundings. It was quite a drive to the airport and what with that and the flight and the long drive after arrival, we were absolutely exhausted by the time we got to bed at around 01.30. Then the 6.30 wakeup call meant that my first day passed in a daze.  The Escolapia school is a former convent/monastery and I'm still finding my way around. I have taken classes from primary to 14 years old and standards of English and behaviour varied greatly, but the higher classes were cancelled due to exams. I believe all the exams will finish this week. I had quite a challenging class today so I need to revisit classroom management techniques, but even their own teacher was suffering as he was completely new. Hopefully next week will be better...
