I can't believe we're half way through our placement! Time flies when you're having fun!
Once again I'm writing this blog entry on a sun filled roof terrace😎
Towards the end of this week I started to feel like I'm beginning to get used to the different classes and I'm getting the hang of the books that various groups are using. The most challenging classes are the primary school learners, as their English is very limited. So I decided to do a card for Valentine's Day, as it was coming up. The idea was to draw a picture of their best friend inside and tell the class about her/him. They are learning vocabulary such as: long hair, curly hair, short hair, dark hair etc. As an example I drew a picture of my bestie (Lucy), but the kids just laughed at it....I suppose my 'artistic' skills are still 'on the spectrum' Good thing I don't have to do much drawing with my other classes, pheeeeew😂
I look forward to more classroom disasters/adventures! Bring on week 3!
